Fundraising for the 70th Anniversary exhibition at the Bridewell Museum - an appeal.
On behalf of the Norwich 20 Group Committee, thank you very much to the N20G Friends who, to-date, have donated £115 towards the project. We have also received £200 from the NCAS Committee and thank them for their support. The Committee are looking to raise a total of £400 towards this project. If at all possible, would you please consider making a donation of £10 and send your cheque made payable to "The Norwich Twenty Group" to Derek Rae, N20G Treasurer, 63 Helena Road, Norwich NR2 3BY. All supporters will be acknowledged. Your donation supports the artistic history, heritage and continuous freedom of artistic expression and development in Norfolk. Art created by N20G Artists is found in countless locations. The Bridewell exhibition tells an iconic Norwich story, the history of the Norwich 20 Group, an Association of Artists founded on philanthropic principles, with meetings and exhibitions free for the public to enjoy. The membership has included over 270 artists. The current membership is 82 plus 7 Licenciates from the Norwich University of the Arts. Over 70 years, the N20G Artists have shown their artwork at 150 Art Exhibitions, almost two thirds in Norwich locations, a third outside of Norwich and 7 in the twinned Cities of Koblenz, Rouen and Novi Sad. In the first half of this year, three Art Shows take place at venues such as The Theatre Royal, The Forum and The Undercroft - the invitation to the Private Views will be emailed soon.
