The Sea, the Ghost and the Kite Maker

East Gallery Fellow, Marilou Chagnaud, is an independent artists whose practice combines printmaking, sculpture, and site-specific installations.
Her multidisciplinary project, The Sea, the Ghost and the Kite Maker, delves into the geological phenomenon of erosion along the Norfolk coastline.

As part of Norwich University of the Arts five-year strategy, we are refocusing the gallery programme to East Gallery is a hub for cross-disciplinary practice and research situated at the heart of Norwich University of the Arts and its unique location in the historic city centre of Norwich. East Gallery aims to proactively engage our university community and the wider public by supporting the university’s Research and Knowledge Exchange culture through a rigorously curated programme of high-quality, vibrant, and inspiring exhibitions and events, presenting research-led practice generated through the university.
East Gallery actively seeks to develop and support new arts and media research and practice through an inclusive and diverse programme, and providing opportunities to create new work under the East Gallery Fellowships programme each year.
