Janette Williams Art ClassesArtist Janette Williams is based in Castle Acre in West Norfolk. She runs workshops in her studio. She is also happy to travel to do art demos or workshops either evening, half or full day.
At her studio, she has small groups of 4 - 5 people maximum with teas / coffees included. The studio has toilet and kitchen facilities with a fridge and microwave for lunches She runs 10 week courses both for AB1 and AB2 - starting Wednesday 2nd March 2022 - see below - in the Castle Acre studio. Janette can teach any one of the modules as a stand alone workshop if your art group would be interested. The courses Beginners Pastels Full day workshop; a 4 x week course or 2 x half day workshops Workshops /course demos different types of pastels, papers and tools, blending and textures, underpainting, solvents, techniques, composition and students produce a final painting Watercolour Textures - Saturday 5 March 10am - 4pm Castle Acre studio - Have fun creating fabulous textures using common household materials and much more Watercolour Sculpting - Saturday 19 March 10am - 4pm Castle Acre studio - Have fun painting boldly and loosely and sculpting out shapes with a credit card or other tools Other workshops / demos (2 - 2.5hours) A. Demo / workshop - Painting in the style of - Michael Morgan (1|) or Ann Blockley (2) or Lena Gemzoe (3) We will look closely at the textures these artists create, analysing and utilising these in our own working styles. B. Print and pan Pastels - mixed media class create your own art boldly and freely with texture and colour C. Line and Wash - waterproof ink and watercolour washes - such a fabulous combination for creating quick loose and creative artwork and improvisation |
