Art auction request for art donations: Can you help raise funds for refugees and asylum seekers in Norwich? Would you like to show and share your work with like minded and appreciative people? The Norwich City of Sanctuary Arts Stream is organising an Auction of Art to take place in Norwich on 27 March 2020 in Norwich City Hall Council Chambers. This will be fun evening with entertainment, fizz and lots of lovely art for people to bid on. We will be auctioning up to 60 lots donated by local artists and arts organisations. A selection of the art for auction will be displayed in city locations in the two weeks prior to the auction.
We are looking for artists to donate a single piece: photograph, sketch, drawing, sculpture, painting etc. We are also looking for donations of unique or special art experiences or packages.
The proceeds of the auction will be donated to The Norwich Integration Partnership (New Routes, English + and Bridge Plus) who work at grassroots level with recently resettled ethnic minority individuals, families, young people and communities in Norwich, and the City Of Sanctuary Arts Stream to fund art projects for, with and about refugees and asylum seekers in Norwich.
